Hi John,
It was funny to receive your e-mail just as I am at work on a book about anti-Semitism (though I'm writing about anti-Semitism on the left). I do believe you are right that there is a connection between homelessness and Nazi genocide. Someone once showed me a translation of a speech by Goering, I think it was, in which he touted the first concentration camp as a jobs program in much the same way that prisons bring jobs to American communities now. Someone called in to one of the marathons and said that the first rationale for why the camps were "needed" was to house homeless people, but I have not seen any documentation of that with my own eyes. In any case, my brother has been diagnosed as schizophrenic. I don't think he's as coherant as you seem to be, but I'm
not a big believer in labels either. It's just a shame when you can't talk to someone you
love, no matter what the diagnosis.
Good luck in your travels and your research.

UPDATE FROM THE FIELD
Homeless Marathon Sends Message from the Cold
The Seventh Annual Homelessness Marathon will take to the airwaves for 14 hours of talk and information about homelessness starting at 7 pm EST on February 12. Originating from Cleveland, OH, the Marathon will be broadcast on stations around the country and on the web until 9 am EST on February 13.
The brainchild and continuing project of Jeremy Weir Alderson, a radio show host known as “Nobody,” the Homelessness Marathon has crisscrossed the country since its inception. The first Marathon was broadcast from Geneva, NY, in 1998. Since then, Marathons have been broadcast from Philadelphia; Champaign, IL; Cambridge, MA; Portland, OR; and Portland, ME. The participating stations have grown from seven for the Philadelphia broadcast to approximately 80 stations this year. A parallel Canadian marathon will be heard on 30 stations in that country, with an hour of joint broadcast with the American show.
The Marathon has some trademark elements that have carried through from year to year. It is broadcast from out of doors, during the winter, to emphasize the experience of people without homes. The Marathon is a national call-in show with a toll-free number. There are no financial solicitations during the broadcast, the show is offered free of charge to non-commercial radio stations around the country, and the organizers are all volunteers.
The hosts of the Marathon, including Mr. Alderson, are joined over the course of the broadcast by several cohosts. This year, cohosts will include Cheri Honkala of the Kensington Welfare Rights Union, Donald Whitehead of the National Coalition for the Homeless, and Walter Schmid, a social welfare activist in Switzerland. There will be a discussion of NIMYBism with Rebecca Troth of National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, and Sister Donna Hawk, who runs a transitional housing program. In addition, the Marathon will include panel discussions with homeless veterans and with homeless mothers from the Cleveland area.
Mr. Alderson says he began the Marathon out of personal concern about homelessness and the belief that the American people want to see the problem solved. “I really think we have to change the entire way we look at the issue of homelessness,” he said. “We are not asking for enough, because we need tens of billions of dollars. After 20 years of cuts and people sleeping on the street, we should realize that the situation is unacceptable and we need to take a different approach.”

"I really enjoyed your marathon. It kept me awake all through the night, not because I was afraid the sound would cut off and I'd have dead air but because you had so much great information and interviews set-up on this issue of homelessness. I wondered how you were going to fill 14 hours but it turned out there are so many connections to other things you could have probably gone another 14. What you put together is greatly appreciated and so important."
Marianne Knorzer, GM, KRBS, Oroville, CA
"Thank you for your efforts in bringing greater awareness to the general public regarding homelessness issues. This is the first I have ever heard of the Marathon, and I was BLOWN AWAY to hear it on the radio. You have no idea... to really hear myself represented in such an honest way was like a re-birth of some kind. I felt validated as a human being, and that's something that occurs very seldom among the homeless. Again, THANK YOU.
"You repeated several times that one of the goals of the Marathon was to open up a dialogue about homeless issues. an ongoing fashion, so I called several times. Thank you for not silencing me, even as a repeat caller. Each guest you presented brought a unique perspective to the issues, and I could identify with every one of them. Not only did my cloak of invisibility drop for a time, but I felt a part of something... a movement, a step in the right direction.
" No one is going to solve the problem in one night, but you gave us a voice. And that's an important thing. Keep the fire burning. I'll be listening for you next year."
Carrie (in California)
"I thought it was great - it provided an opportunity for homeless and formerly homeless people to discuss the experience and as important, for housed people to hear and better understand this phenomenon -- ultimately building awareness and political will to deal with the shortage of affordable housing and the imperative to meet the housing needs of all people."
Ruth Gillett, Program Manager Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Office of Homeless Services
"The Marathon generated more interest and conversation than I would ever have imagined. I think that it got folks thinking about the issue in renewed ways. Locally it helped to put a face on the generic" homelessness." There was also a great deal of spark from hearing from other parts of the country. Blessings on your work."

THE MURDER TRAIN
Every year, tens of thousands jump train boxcars to catch a free ride
along the rails inside an empty car. But while the freedom of the rails
may carry its thrills, it also caters to killers on the run.
Over the past two decades, a gang known as the Freight Train Riders
of America has emerged from the boxcars and freight yards
crisscrossing the country. Police suspect the gang, which is
concentrated in the Pacific Northwest, may be responsible for hundreds
of assaults, thefts and murders along rail lines in the past 20 years.
With the NEW OUTLOOK to SURVIVAL, we as 'street-people', 'hoboes,' 'homeless' or whatever, must realise, THE NEW WORLD ORDER is DETERMINED to DEMONISE us, MAKE US APPEAR to be MURDERIOUS PSYCHOPATHS and , then; "the FINAL SOLUTION"= Social Cleansing, or EXTERMINATION of PARASITES from the human race; the GLOBAL 200 REPORT called us "USELESS EATERS!" I am POSTING EVERY ITEM I CAN LOCATE TO ACCUSE THOSE WHO PLAN WHOLESALE GENOCIDE against HUMAN BEINGS! And, you will be surprised, OUR OWN GOVERNMENT IS THE MOST ADAMANT proponent of this 4th. Reich Programme!

I have been PREACHING this for 20+ years!!!!You ALL have HEARD me, on the air, WITH LEE, at 1420KCs & at 1340KCs before! YOU SAID I WAS CRAZY! Well, HERE IS MY VINDICATION!
I ain't happy....
Final solution to the hobo question?
All of this concern for about safety rhetoric is being used to rationalize an extremely cruel attack on the homeless by another powerful element involved in this issue. There are some very greedy people who own land near train yards that want to rid their areas of the homeless so they can increase property values. Businesses that think that if there were no tramps to be seen on the streets that more yuppies would shop at their stores. We are talking about mean, cruel, hateful, greedy, selfish people who sue homeless shelters that feed starving homeless people as a nuisance. These are the same people who want to portray all homeless transient as dangerous racist serial killers. They don't like it when anyone puts up a true picture of this population on the internet. Greedy hobophobic types call this "romanticizing".
They are so afraid that people might feel sorry for the friendly fun loving homeless hobos once pictured on North Bank Fred's and Sahara George's now defunked web pages. They don't want any one to think that the people they want to root out are human beings. The only image that they want to allow is one of dangerous sub human monsters.
Tramps don't need or want main stream publicity. People who are asking for even more government money to combat the problems they themselves are unwittingly causing are the ones that need publicity.
Even worse tramp-hating people are not above creating publicity about train hopping web pages, to lure children who would never have suspected that this sort of information existed with out their publicity.
Then when some of these kids, that are lured by the tramp haters get killed, they will say, see we need tougher laws so that we can #### with the homeless more effectively. We don't really care that tougher laws will endanger kids who will take chances not to get caught, we want tougher laws to vigorously enforce our anti-hobo polices.
So the railroads wanting to be "good neighbors" sign letters of understanding with these evil tramp haters to work with the city cops to rid their city of homeless, but with almost every city doing this what is really happening is that we are simply putting more and more of these "homeless mentally ill", people into jails and prisons for made up petty crimes. They have no place else to go. So we put them into jail because we are concerned with their safety and well being?
You know what else, I think that the rail roads are going to be real sorry that they worked with these evil "neighbors" to drive the homeless from their former refuge on rail road property.
Property values will go up and these yuppies who don't want to live around tramps will move in right next door to the rail roads replacing the old friendly care free fun loving hobos who used to live by the tracks, that never complained about anything.
So next the rail roads want to haul some sulfuric acid, nuclear waste, or Napalm. Back when tramps used to live down by the tracks and people who did not want to live where tramps lived, stayed some where else, there was little or no protest. None of the care free fun loving hobos never complained.
Hey UP and BNSF listen up! You are getting into bed with some really greedy and selfish yuppies, and no matter what you do for them they will never be your friends or love you the way the tramps loved the old SP and Great Northern.
Think that these assholes that are suing the rescue missions as a nuisance are going to be grateful when you exterminate the transients for them? #### no, they will not be greatful, more and more of them are gong to move in right next door to you.
They are going to constantly bitch and moan!
I can almost hear it now!
"On can you please not switch cars at night it makes to much noise?"
"Can you please put emission controls on those locomotives they smell bad?"
"Can you please run the hasmat stuff through a different town, our nice clean yuppie infested city does not want that in our back yards?"
"Heck" I can hear the yuppies say, "we would not even live in an area that was crawling with rail road tramps. What, you think were going to put up with a train with Nukes or hasmats on it going through our nice clean little Yuppie high rent district?"
"How could you think that, when we would not even put up with a train with tramps on it?"
Yup when all the tramps are gone you will be hearing this sad song.
"We only moved in when the fun loving hobos were driven away.
If we will not put up with living some place where we might see an unsightly tramp, why should we put up with a operating rail road in out back yard?"

After I posted this I got to thinking about how many people I know (myself included) that are 3-4 paychecks away from being homeless. With the price of everything going up and salaries staying the same I can see things getting a lot worse. We have four children to feed and keep a roof over their heads. After all is said and done we don't have a dime saved . It seems to me that there will be alot more homeless people in our future.....Oh by the way Hang,God did not gave us a spirit of fear(1chr.28:20,Psalms27:3, psalms 118:6,Matthew 10:26-28&31) and I can go on and on . I still believe the truth will set me free and I will not be silenced by anyone! I'm not getting on the truck! Bring it on!! Give me liberty or give me death! I do not fear death because to me it means life everlasting.....

The RFID technology was developed by HHS' Health Resources and Services
Administration (HRSA) in partnership with five states, including California
and New York. "This is a rare opportunity to use advanced technology to
meet society's dual objectives of better serving our homeless population
while making our cities safer," HRSA Administrator Betty James Duke said.
The miniscule RFID tags are no larger than a matchstick and will be
implanted subdermally, meaning under the skin. Data from RFID tracking
stations mounted on telephone poles will be transmitted to police and
social service workers, who will use custom Windows NT software to track
movements of the homeless in real time.In what has become a chronic social
problem, people living in shelters and on the streets do not seek adequate
medical care and frequently contribute to the rising crime rate in major
cities.
Supporters of subdermal RFID tracking say the technology will discourage
implanted homeless men and women from committing crimes, while making it
easier for government workers to provide social services such as delivering
food and medicine.Duke called the RFID tagging pilot program "a high-tech,
minimally-intrusive way for the government to lift our citizens away from
the twin perils of poverty and crime." Participating cities include New
York City, San Francisco, Washington, and Bethlehem, Penn.
Participating states will receive grants of $14 million to $58 million from
the federal Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH)
program, which was created under the McKinney Act to fund support services
for the homeless. A second phase of the project, scheduled to be completed
in early 2005, will wirelessly transmit live information on the locations
of homeless people to handheld computers running the Windows CE operating
system.A spokesman for the National Coalition for the Homeless, which
estimates that there are between 2.3 million and 3.5 million people
experiencing homelessness nationwide, said the pilot program could be
easily abused.
"We have expressed our tentative support for the idea to HRSA, but only if
it includes privacy safeguards," the spokesman said. "So far it's unclear
whether those safeguards will actually be in place by roll-out."Chris
Hoofnagle, deputy director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center,
said the mandatory RFID program would be vulnerable to a legal challenge.
"It is a glaring violation of the Tenth Amendment, which says that powers
not awarded to the government are reserved to the people, and homeless
people have just as many Tenth Amendment rights as everyone else," said
Hoofnagle, who is speaking about homeless privacy at this month's Computers

The US and the Crime of Genocide Against Native Americans
SAN FRANCISCO WILL SOON SHIP ALL THE HOMELESS TO "CAMPS" FOR EXTERMINATION! THE NAZIS ARE THE TECHNOCRATS! THE HOMELESS & SENIORS ARE THE GYPSIES & JEWS! HISTORY IS REPEATING ITS SELF!
Zbigniew Brzezinski's book "The Grand Chessboard" said that Americans would only support the military plans of the US neocons "in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat", another example of a US motive for carrying out the 9/11 attacks.
EVEN NOAM CHOMSKY RECENTLY AGREED WITH CHRIS HEDGES & MORRIS BERMAN, HATE AGAINST THE POOR & HOMELESS IS NOW BEING REVEALED AS REPEAT OF NATIONAL SOCIALIST PROPAGANDA of the 1930's.
German Nazi Party member Joseph Goebbels became Adolf Hitler's propaganda minister in 1933, which gave him power over all German radio, press, cinema, and theater.
In 1925 Goebbels met the party leader Adolf Hitler. In 1926 he was made Gauleiter, or party leader, for the region of Berlin, and in 1927 he founded and became editor of the official National Socialist periodical Der Angriff (The Attack). He was elected to the Reichstag, the German parliament, in 1928. By exploiting mob emotions and by employing all modern methods of propaganda Goebbels helped Hitler into power.
His work as a propagandist materially aided Hitler's rise to power in 1933. When Hitler seized power in 1933, Goebbels was appointed Reichsminister for propaganda and national enlightenment. From then until his death, Goebbels used all media of education and communications to further Nazi propagandistic aims, instilling in the Germans the concept of their leader as a veritable god and of their destiny as the rulers of the world. In 1938 he became a member of the Hitler cabinet council. Late in World War II, in 1944, Hitler placed him in charge of total mobilization.
As Reichsminister for Propaganda and National Enlightenment, Goebbels was given complete control over radio, press, cinema, and theater; later he also regimented all German culture. Goebbels placed his undeniable intelligence and his brilliant insight into mass psychology entirely at the service of his party. His most virulent propaganda was against the Jews. As a hypnotic orator he was second only to Hitler, and in his staging of mass meetings and parades he was unsurpassed. Utterly cynical, he seems to have believed only in the self-justification of power. He remained loyal to Hitler until the end. On May 1, 1945, as Soviet troops were storming Berlin, Goebbels committed suicide.
Listed below are the principles purported to summarize what made Goebbels tick or fail to tick. They may be thought of as his intellectual legacy. Whether the legacy has been reliably deduced is a methodological question. Whether it is valid is a psychological matter. Whether or when parts of it should be utilized in a democratic society are profound and disturbing problems of a political and ethical nature.
GOEBBELS' PRINCIPLES OF PROPAGANDA
Based upon Goebbels' Principles of Propaganda by Leonard W. Doob, published in Public Opinion and Propaganda; A Book of Readings edited for The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues.
1. Propagandist must have access to intelligence concerning events and public opinion.
2. Propaganda must be planned and executed by only one authority.
a. It must issue all the propaganda directives.
b. It must explain propaganda directives to important officials and maintain their morale.
c. It must oversee other agencies' activities which have propaganda consequences
3. The propaganda consequences of an action must be considered in planning that action.
4. Propaganda must affect the enemy's policy and action.
a. By suppressing propagandistically desirable material which can provide the enemy with useful intelligence
b. By openly disseminating propaganda whose content or tone causes the enemy to draw the desired conclusions
c. By goading the enemy into revealing vital information about himself
d. By making no reference to a desired enemy activity when any reference would discredit that activity
5. Declassified, operational information must be available to implement a propaganda campaign
6. To be perceived, propaganda must evoke the interest of an audience and must be transmitted through an attention-getting communications medium.
7. Credibility alone must determine whether propaganda output should be true or false.
8. The purpose, content and effectiveness of enemy propaganda; the strength and effects of an expose; and the nature of current propaganda campaigns determine whether enemy propaganda should be ignored or refuted.
9. Credibility, intelligence, and the possible effects of communicating determine whether propaganda materials should be censored.
10. Material from enemy propaganda may be utilized in operations when it helps diminish that enemy's prestige or lends support to the propagandist's own objective.
11. Black rather than white propaganda may be employed when the latter is less credible or produces undesirable effects.
12. Propaganda may be facilitated by leaders with prestige.
13. Propaganda must be carefully timed.
a. The communication must reach the audience ahead of competing propaganda.
b. A propaganda campaign must begin at the optimum moment
c. A propaganda theme must be repeated, but not beyond some point of diminishing effectiveness
14. Propaganda must label events and people with distinctive phrases or slogans.
a. They must evoke desired responses which the audience previously possesses
b. They must be capable of being easily learned
c. They must be utilized again and again, but only in appropriate situations
d. They must be boomerang-proof
15. Propaganda to the home front must prevent the raising of false hopes which can be blasted by future events.
16. Propaganda to the home front must create an optimum anxiety level.
a. Propaganda must reinforce anxiety concerning the consequences of defeat
b. Propaganda must diminish anxiety (other than concerning the consequences of defeat) which is too high and which cannot be reduced by people themselves
17. Propaganda to the home front must diminish the impact of frustration.
a. Inevitable frustrations must be anticipated
b. Inevitable frustrations must be placed in perspective
18. Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred.
19. Propaganda cannot immediately affect strong counter-tendencies; instead it must offer some form of action or diversion, or both.

The opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference.
The opposite of art is not ugliness; it's indifference.
The opposite of faith is not heresy; it's indifference.
The opposite of life is not death; it's indifference.
Because of indifference, one dies before one actually dies.
Elie Wiesel.
On September 8, 2000, the head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) formally apologized for the agency's participation in the "ethnic cleansing" of Western tribes. From the forced relocation and assimilation of the "sauvage" to the white man's way of life to the forced sterilization of Native Americans, the BIA set out to "destroy all things Indian." Through the exploration of the United States' Federal Indian policy, it is evident that this policy intended to "destroy, in whole or in part," the Native American population. The extreme disparity in the number of Native American people living within the United States' borders at the time Columbus arrived, approximately ten million compared to the approximate 2.4 million Indians and Eskimos alive in the United States today, is but one factor that illustrates the success of the government's plan of "Manifest Destiny."
No longer can we remain indifferent and justify these acts of genocide committed by the United States government, its agencies, and its personnel against Native Americans as a result of colonization or the need to establish a prosperous union. Instead, the United States government, its agencies, and those involved with carrying out the measures designed to inflict genocidal acts against the Native American population must be held in violation of customary international law, as well as conventional international law, as proscribed in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Genocide Convention).
The term "genocide" was coined by Raphael Lemkin in 1944 and was derived from the Greek word genos, which means tribe or race, and the Latin word cide, which is commonly found in words such as homicide, infanticide, and fratricide. In his first enunciation of "genocide," Lemkin defined the term in two different ways: (1) "the practice of extermination of nations and ethnic groups as carried out by invaders" and (2) "[the] destruction of the national pattern of the oppressed group; the other, the imposition of the national pattern of the oppressor." Currently, "genocide" is commonly defined as "acts committed with intent to destroy in whole or in part a national, ethnical, racial or religious group."
The crime of "genocide" is recognized as one of the most heinous international crimes under customary international law. A practice is proscribed as a crime under customary international law through the existence of the following: (1) uniformity of state practice, (2) generality of state practice, and (3) the opinion that state practice is required by law. Customary international law also recognizes any crime that is universally condemned by the international community as a jus cogens international crime, which gives rise to obligations erga omnes. In accordance with customary international law, an obligation erga omnes requires a state party to extradite or prosecute perpetrators of these crimes found within its territory. Because the international community has universally condemned genocide, as evidenced in part by the ratification of the Genocide Convention, it has risen to the level of a jus cogens international crime. As a result, any individuals, agencies, or states that commit genocide must be held accountable.
On December 9, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly approved a draft of the Genocide Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, and since then 135 states have ratified the Convention, including the United States. According to the Vienna Convention on the Laws of Treaties, conventions are binding and enforceable against all states that have signed and ratified the specific convention. Therefore, in accordance to Article IV of the Genocide Convention, which requires all parties to prosecute those charged with genocide, conspiracy to commit genocide, direct andpublic incitement to commit genocide, attempt to commit genocide, and complicity in genocide, regardless of their capacity as a ruler or public official, in a competent tribunal within the State where the crime took place or in a competent international tribunal that has proper jurisdiction over the case, any persons or agencies that commit acts of genocide within the territory of the United States must be held accountable for their crimes.
Even though the crime of genocide remains universally condemned by the international community, the United States government, its agencies, and its personnel have been effectively granted de facto immunity. The time has come to hold the perpetrators of these acts of genocide accountable and to formulate a system of reparation for the victims of these heinous international crimes, in order for the world, as well as the victims, to realize that justice does prevail in the international community.
This Comment will address the demise of Native Americans' livelihood, reproductive rights, and identity at the hands of the United States government, its agencies, and its personnel. Because the United States had a direct role in perpetrating genocidal acts against Native Americans, it must be held accountable for these acts. The international community must hold these agencies and persons responsible, and an apology and reparations must be awarded to Native Americans for their grave losses. While the need for reparations is clear, the method used to provide these reparations remains at issue.

Did you know Premarin is made from Horse Urine? Cruelty of animals AND VIOLENCE
[This page represents my own beliefs, experiences, and practices. It is not medical advice. I did my research and each reader must do his own. I am not responsible for how a person uses this information. I AM NOT A DOCTOR. WARNING: I read that it is possible for people who are taking drugs to overdose if they consume their urine and continue to take their drugs (excess drug comes out in the urine). Also I have heard of a time when a person's wounds were treated with urine from a soldier who had a veneral disease and caught the disease. We need to know what we are dealing with. Some people may not know that they have a sexually transmitted disease--these diseases can lie latent for many years. I'd use my own own urine for my wounds.]
Uses of Urine
I knew someone who was a proponent of Urine Therapy. He said that it cured his cancer. He gave me books on the subject. He was a former pharmacist who had owned his own pharmacy for approximately 28 years but renounced pharmacy after discovering the practices of the pharmaceutical companies.
Normal urine is clean. In urine, your body is flushing out the excess minerals, etc. that it did not need. It is used extensively in medicine and agriculture. It may be called urea [urea is found in urine but as I understand it, it may also be made synthetically today]. In an old college textbook I saw a picture of a cow raised only on urine protein and her calf. [Aside: Today, I read that they'll feed animals not only urine products but dung/manure and sawdust mixed in with grain. How can this be? Well, dung used to be used to fertilize crops, but now with these huge, monoculture farms farmers use synthetic fertilizers. This leaves monoculture cattle farmers with a lot of dung on their hands that they must dispose of--they have no pastures or fields to put it on. False science has developed a noxious mixture of dung, lumberyard scraps, and token grain that they make into pellets to feed the cattle that we buy--I don't know how widespread the use of these pellets is.] The Porta John company (the people who make portable toilets) website has a link for "pharmaceuticals" on the left-hand side menu of their homepage at toilets.com. It is said that they sell urine proteins. As I understand it, horse urine is used in Premarin (pregnant mare urine) for women going through menopause (see premarin.org). As in practically all modern agriculture, the horses that supply urine are not treated well.
Urine is also believed to help combat allergies. I've had severe pollen allergies for over 30 years. Knowing that the time is coming when Christians will not be able to buy and sell caused me anxiety because I would not be able to purchase allergy medicine. I looked in one of those urine books and it said that urine relieves allergy symptoms.
Unsavory as it was at first, I gave it a try. I did it for an entire year to prove that urine can be used to treat allergies. My allergies are so bad that they can bring on an asthma-like attack if they are not treated. I made it through that year dabbing a little in the inside of my nostrils with a q-tip. [Update: last year, after I had been treating myself for a while, I saw a little blood on the q-tip. With that in mind, I've recently started diluting the urine with water.] I've sometimes dabbed some in my ears too, because they can itch during allergy season. Each treatment lasted about four hours, but I often did it whenever I went to the bathroom. If the urine is strong it can sting, so I STOPPED putting it in the eyes.
I got tired of using urine so I went back to over-the-counter medicine knowing that I could use urine at any time.
[Update: I am back on urine and have developed various mixtures--nasal rinse, a greatly diluted eye wash to dab *over* my eyelids, one to dab in my nostrils, and one for ear drops taking care to make sure excess water drains out from the drops.] [4/16/11 Update: This allergy season took half of an allergy pill once or twice a day and that was enough for a while. Then I had to take one whole pill at a time. I was taking maybe 1 or 2 pills a day which was a great find. An even greater find was that I could "mechanically" remove the pollen by submerging my face in a sink of warm water, flush my ears with a bulb syringe, and wash my face. I took no allergy medicine today (or urine) and have been doing well. I did this protocol this morning, then maybe again around noon, and then after I sneezed in the late afternoon as I worked outside. When I sneezed, I came in and mechanically removed the pollen and the attack did not continue.]
I read that putting a few drops of urine under the tongue increases the potency, but that is an unsavory proposition. I did it a few times and, as I recall, I could go a LONG time (maybe 12 hours) without another treatment--but I didn't like the idea. [Update: my allergies can get so bad that I must take an oral dose and it has to increase when the pollen gets worse. I swab the nostrils and at the worst times, I squirt 15 half dropperfuls down the back of my throat. When I was taking a dose down my throat, it actually instantly relieved my throat which was irritated and sore from allergies (I have a way of grating my throat when it itches to "scratch" the itch which leaves it raw feeling). About the same time I heard from an acquaintance that he used urine for a sore throat too. We live in the end times and I want to know how to help myself and not have to rely on man. Some use urine for sore throats (gargle) and toothache (swish in mouth)] Some people make a tincture of urine where it is diluted by many times in drinking alcohol--NOT rubbing alcohol like what is in your medicine cabinet.
The man who introduced me to urine therapy drank about 8 ounces of urine a day. This is not unknown in other countries. Some people still drink urine--from cattle owners who drink cow's urine, to a former prime minister of India, Morarji Desai, who drank his own urine and testified of its health benefits. My father said as he was growing up he heard that you could swish it around in your mouth when you had a toothache and then spit it out. I've heard that military men have stood in it to get rid of athlete's foot fungus. Dilute it with water and it can be used to fertilize your plants--store bought fertilizers often have "urea" as a chief nitrogen source ingredient (as I understand it, urea can also go under other names). One man recommended urine for a baby with skin problems--he said wipe a wet diaper on the affected area. I read about an Eskimo tribe that used urine as the treatment of choice for washing wounds. I dipped a wound in it and there was no stinging, but the wound had clotted over by that time, as I recall. Some women use urine to beautify skin and hair, and on and on...
They say that it is good to collect urine when your allergies symptoms first come on because it contains lots of antibodies that your body produced to combat the pollen.
Years ago, I was given "Your Body's Own Perfect Medicine" and am glad to have it on my bookshelf. Revelation 13 let me know that I had to stop relying on the grocery store. That meant I had to find a solution to my allergies. I found my allergy answer in urine but I am convinced that there are many, many other answers as well such as answers to infections. [UPDATE: http://users.erols.com/martinlara/ has information of great interest, the books, are unavailable at this time but just reading the synopses and table of contents was of great interest. Also on the site is what Mr. Lara calls, "The Universal Remedy."]
[Update: I had itching poison ivy. I had calamine lotion on it but said the next time it itched I would try urine. I swabbed it on full strength with a cotton ball and the itching did not return.]

Did you know Premarin is made from Horse Urine?
Estrogen Replacement Therapy
Please Don't Contribute to
the Cruelty of animals
• Premarin, which is made from horse urine, is derived from PREgnant MARes' urINe. If you dissolve Premarin in a small amount of water, you will notice that it smells like piss, that's because it is made from pure horse urine.
• Each year approximately 75,000 mares are impregnated and suffer being confined in small stalls so that all their urine can be collected in bags hanging beneath them. The Horses are given less than normal amounts of water in order to produce a heavier concentration of estrogen in their urine. These cruely treated horses are unable to exercise or lie down comfortably and endure severe physical and emotional trauma. Many develop hoof deformities, open sores from chafing by the urine bags, and respiratory disorders from inadequate ventilation, to name a few. The emotional pain of being unable to move, rest adequately, or socialize with other horses and with caring human beings is beyond measure.
Also important to know is that humans don't have any of the co-factors required to metabolize equilin and the other horse estrogens, nor does the body have enough cofactors to deal with the excessively large amounts of Estrone and Estradiol found in Premarin (or in the 100% Estradiol "patch").
Due to the cruelty of animals and other Premarin and Prempro side effects, more and more women are opting for natural Estrogen Replacement.
Did you know that most women have too much estrogen, and need more natural progesterone. Are you suffering from Estrogen Dominance Syndrome?

RAND CORP

If you think the Internet came out of Silicon Valley, that NASA planned the first satellite to orbit Earth, or that IBM created the modern computer—think again. Each one of these breakthroughs was conceived at RAND, a shadowy think tank in Santa Monica, California.
After a few short months, RAND got the attention of academics, politicians, and military strategists alike by issuing a prophetic study called "Preliminary Design of an Experimental World-Circling Spaceship." At the time, rocket science was still in its infancy, so RAND's call for an orbiting space station was revolutionary. Not only did the think tank specify the kind of fuel the spaceship would need and how quickly it could be built, but it also outlined how the station could predict the weather, transform long-distance communication, and, most importantly, intimidate our rivals abroad. If America could put a satellite into space, what else was she capable of?

The Intimidation Factor
Rand rose out of the ashes of World War II. After witnessing the success of the Manhattan Project—the $2 billion initiative that created the first atomic bomb—a five-star Air Force general named Henry "Hap" Arnold (pictured) concluded that America needed a team of great minds to keep the country's technology ahead of the rest of the world. In 1946, he gathered together a small group of scientists and $10 million in funding and started RAND (which stands for Research and Development). He even convinced a family friend, aircraft magnate Donald Douglas, to house the project at his factory in Santa Monica. After a few short months, RAND got the attention of academics, politicians, and military strategists alike by issuing a prophetic study called "Preliminary Design of an Experimental World-Circling Spaceship." Broken 'Jukebox'
Former Fisherman's Wharf musical icon only lives in street now
Before he disappeared, he was the Automatic Human Jukebox, that famous Fisherman's Wharf street performer from the 1970s and '80s who once compared his popularity to that of the Golden Gate Bridge.
His wacky act, where he popped out of a phone booth-sized cardboard box and played the trumpet, was featured in San Francisco guidebooks and mentioned in Penthouse magazine and the Wall Street Journal. He also appeared on "The Mike Douglas Show," "Charles Kuralt on the Road" and "To Tell the Truth."
Now, after years of anonymity, the trumpet-playing, anti-establishment hippie Grimes Poznikov has reappeared -- at a dump in the southeast sector of San Francisco. There, Poznikov lives under a rotting baby grand piano that is covered in a heap of clothes, blankets, liquor bottles, naked Barbie dolls, suitcases and a tattered American flag.
Poznikov's photo appeared last week with a Chronicle article about city efforts to clean up an illegal dumping ground that also has become a homeless encampment near the Caltrain railroad tracks. Property owners have agreed to start sweeping out the area Wednesday. His photo prompted an outpouring of concern from longtime residents who recognized Poznikov despite his graying and matted hair and beard.
"It's sad to learn that he now is forgotten and living on the streets," wrote resident Don Grimes, who used to take his visiting nephews to watch Poznikov's act near Aquatic Park because the family surname matched the street artist's first name. "He did play a part in creating San Francisco memories."
For more than a decade, people inserted money in a slot in Poznikov's famous "jukebox" so he would play them any tune by request -- and the more you paid, the longer he played. He also offered running commentary on everything from the legalization of pot to President Ford to the Mideast crisis.
But Poznikov stopped playing to tourists in the 1980s.
FALLING OUT
One morning this week at Poznikov's campsite, the former Automatic Human Jukebox crawled out from under his piano when he heard his name called by a Chronicle reporter. He seemed dazed by the sunlight and oblivious to the stink of urine and trash around him. He was dressed in women's clothing.
Pointing to a missing front tooth, which he said police knocked out during one of his many contacts with them, Poznikov said he can't play the trumpet anymore. He hawked the instrument at a pawn shop in 1996. Instead, at age 56, he now plays chaotic chords on a waterlogged piano with broken strings for other homeless campers and resident rats. Of course, he said, he misses the crowds at Fisherman's Wharf. "Well, it's sad," he said, turning his head away to hide his watery green eyes. After a long pause, he added, "But what can you do?" To his homeless neighbors, he's part crazy and part genius, he's a little bit generous and a little bit confrontational.
He recently fished a turkey out of a trash can and gave it to a neighbor for Thanksgiving, and he gives piano concerts at midnight. But he also drinks, says he smokes some pot and calls passers-by "Nazis."
MIDWESTERN BOY
Poznikov's story starts in Kansas, where he grew up with his father, a small-town lawyer, and his mother, who sang in local musical productions. He said he also has a sister and two brothers.
His parents have died and he has lost touch with his siblings. Poznikov, who talks frequently about how the government has been monitoring him for the past 40 years, says his parents were given lethal injections in their nursing home because of his protest activities during the Vietnam War. He said he started studying music at age 5, first piano and then horns. He continued to study music but majored in psychology at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. College records show he graduated May 18, 1969. It was the height of Vietnam War protests. Poznikov used his music to demonstrate for peace during that turbulent time, he said, and was arrested during the Chicago riots with other Vietnam War protesters while playing "America the Beautiful" on his trumpet outside the 1968 Democratic National Convention.
PIECE OF MIND
Four years later, after a brief teaching stint and tour of Europe, he turned his attention to the Republican National Convention in Miami, where he set up his American Lobotomy Machine -- a trailer that other protesters could sit in and pretend to be brainwashed into "good Americans."
But Poznikov said his machine wasn't paying the bills, so he moved to San Francisco later that year and became the Automatic Human Jukebox. He set up on Beach Street across from Ghirardelli Square or in nearby Aquatic Park and the crowds gathered around him. He lived on the margins even then. He was once described by a newspaper reporter as "a circle in a land full of squares."
But Alessandro Baccari, longtime executive secretary of the Fisherman's Wharf Association, remembers Poznikov as a gentle and witty entertainer. He was part of the quilt of Fisherman's Wharf," Baccari said. Poznikov fell into the tight community of street artists and joined their fight in the mid-1970s for permits and places to play without police or merchant harassment.
In 1975 he made headlines when he was arrested for occupying a public street without a permit and later took his "jukebox" to the city Department of Elections to hand in enough petitions to qualify a street artist-friendly measure for the 1975 ballot. The measure later lost.
FRINGE PHILOSOPHY
Fellow street artist Dale Axelrod, who lives in Petaluma now, recalls that Poznikov was always on the political fringes.
"He's like Emperor Norton. He was cut from that kind of cloth," Axelrod said, referring to San Francisco's beloved 19th century denizen who went a little nutty after losing his fortune and then proclaimed himself Emperor of the United States.
Poznikov captured headlines again in 1979 when he was arrested and charged with possession of LSD for sale and selling marijuana through a slot in the back of his jukebox. He was placed on three years' probation.
His national fame skyrocketed in 1987 when, after 15 years as a tourist institution, the city pulled his plug for playing "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" 13 decibels above the legal sound limit. His street performing days went downhill after that, and Poznikov turned to selling goods culled from Dumpster-diving. He's been evicted from many apartments and lofts since then, and has been pushed out of abandoned buildings and empty lots by police.
Friends have urged him to seek help, but he says he doesn't want to go to a homeless shelter because he can't take his piano. As for finding food, his campsite is near produce warehouses and their trash is perfect for this established vegetarian.
STATE OF MIND
Poznikov said he qualifies for federal disability checks because of his mental state and was having his checks delivered to a drug treatment center. But he said the program cut him off after he arrived late one day, lost his temper and broke the center's door buzzer. Now he's trying to find another representative to hold his checks.
He said he doesn't need addiction or mental health counseling because "I got a degree in psychology. I don't need any mental help. I influenced an entire culture, an entire country." Poznikov said he doesn't know where he'll move when work crews come to sweep him out this week, but he has his eye on some abandoned piers nearby. He's mostly worried about how to move his piano.
"In the Haight you see hippies with guitars," he said. "I'm just a hippie with a piano."

Homeless sweep pushes out 'Jukebox'
San Francisco -- The bulldozers came at daybreak Monday, crushing the baby grand piano Grimes Poznikov has slept under and entertained neighbors with the past few years in a homeless encampment in southeast San Francisco.
The piano, along with an expanse of trash and items collected by Poznikov and other homeless people, was scooped into a towering pile to be hauled off to a dump at Half Moon Bay. The cleanup was part of a Department of Public Works effort to force property owners to clean up vacant lots along the Caltrain tracks in the southern part of the city. "We are fastidiously cleaning up -- without notice, which is kind of a bummer," said Poznikov, a Fisherman's Wharf street performer during the 1970s and 1980s.
Poznikov, who was known as the "Automatic Human Jukebox," popped out of a phone booth-sized cardboard box and played the trumpet. His act was featured in San Francisco guidebooks before he fell on hard times.
Monday, Poznikov awoke to the grunt of heavy equipment moving along the narrow valley toward his make-shift home. He and a neighbor rushed to fill shopping carts with clothes and random items and hauled them out of their camp. He said the bulldozers had taken him by surprise. City workers visited the site last week to inform residents of their impending eviction, said Mohammed Nuru, deputy director of the Department of Public Works.
The city ordered the property owners to clean and fence off the site or face the possibility that the city will sue them. Officials say the encampment has turned into a public health hazard. The city targeted a mile-long stretch along the railroad tracks that is visible to Caltrain's commuters coming from the Peninsula and South Bay. Crews at work Monday were hired by the property owners. Several dozen people have been rousted from the site in recent weeks.
After a few hours scrambling to save his stuff, Poznikov was told to stay out or he would be arrested. He ran in one last time to grab a pack of cigarettes and was then shooed away by cleanup workers.
He said he would spend the evening looking for anything salvageable from his collection and resettle elsewhere in the area. Losing clothing along with his piano and piles of other stuff makes for a rough day, Poznikov said. "You live rent-free, you gotta pay a price," he said. "It's a hell of a hard life."
Homeless get swept away
Squatters continually uprooted as city cleans up encampments
San Francisco -- Grimes Poznikov stood in the middle of an unsanctioned dump in San Francisco and played a broken piano half buried in trash. "Sorry about the mess," Poznikov said like a self-conscious host, indicating the waist-high piles of household junk and building supplies dragged into the area by homeless campers like himself or dumped by contractors. On the railroad tracks above him, Caltrain sped by with commuters from the Peninsula and South Bay. Their first view of San Francisco isn't cable cars or bridges -- it's trash and tent cities.
After years of letting the mile-long stretch along the railroad tracks alone, the city has issued a cleanup order to the property owners and an eviction notice to the homeless. The city has given the owners, including Union Pacific, until Dec. 6 to clean up and fence it off or face the possibility that the city will sue them for ignoring the mess that officials say is a public health hazard. For the squatters caught in the impending sweep, this is part of an endless cycle of being uprooted by the city only settle somewhere else, a hopefully less visible location.
The encampments have been moving south into the Bayview and industrial neighborhoods as San Francisco's business community, tourism industry and residents urge city officials to do something about the homeless people hanging around downtown and busy neighborhoods like the Haight and Mission. This encampment of about 40 people stretches from Cesar Chavez Street and Pennsylvania Avenue to Oakdale Avenue. Some of the residents say they moved in last fall after the city closed a huge illegal camp under Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street. Others came in August after city officials closed another large camp at Berry and Seventh streets.
"There are these ongoing cycles," said Mara Raider, civil rights project coordinator for the Coalition on Homeless, an advocacy group. "People just get moved from place to place because that is all police enforcement can achieve. It's not providing housing for people." Social workers from the Department of Human Services visited the site this week to prepare campers for the cleanup. They found people living among piles of clothes, shopping carts, televisions, bike tires, car batteries, scrap wood, toys, a stroller, shells of cars and a sharp stench of urine and feces. The city's health inspectors have already carted away old oil drums and made notes about rats and other vermin living among the trash and humans.
The social workers offered the homeless people alternatives such as emergency shelter beds and urged them to put their names on a waiting list for more permanent housing, said senior social worker Mary-Lynn Garrett. San Francisco has about 1,700 year-round shelter beds and on Monday will start opening more than 200 extra winter beds at churches throughout the city. But homeless people in these situations usually prefer the freedom of the outdoors and regularly refuse emergency shelter, Garrett said. Social workers escorted just one woman, who was more than eight months pregnant, to a shelter after Monday's outreach to the campers.
Helping even one person is progress. "I really felt good about (Monday), and I can't say that about all the encampments," said Rann Parker, outreach coordinator for the city's Mobile Assistance Patrol.
The squatters who talked to The Chronicle shrugged when asked where they would move to next. The problem for many is that they've settled in. Poznikov, 56, said he had lived there for a couple of years. The pile of stuff that he has collected is so big that it's hard to tell exactly where he sleeps. His neighbor, Casey, has lived there about a year in his broken Toyota Tercel. He constructed a large area of shelves to keep all his belongings neat. They are collectors and scavengers, peeling valuable copper wire out of piles of electrical wire dumped by contractors and stripping old refrigerators for scrap metal to sell.
Some squatters say they are drug addicts. Others have mental health issues.

Poznikov, wearing a black tank top and miniskirt and graying dreadlocks, explained that the city couldn't move him because it would prohibit him from watching for terrorists who might target the nearby railroad or freeway overpass. "It's a critical junction for national security," he said. Nearby, a homeless man named Gene made coffee on a makeshift barbecue and said he felt like the city was punishing homeless people for the state of the illegal dump. "But I see people -- John Q. Citizen -- bring truckloads of trash here three times a week," said Gene, 40. "We're the ones getting blamed for it. We're really harmless people."
Mohammed Nuru, deputy director of the Department of Public Works, has been trying to stop the dumpers and get the area cleaned up for at least six months. He even threatened to do the work for the property owners and then fine them $250,000.
"It is a horrible sight to see," Nuru said. "I've just had it." The property owners are Union Pacific, San Mateo County Transportation Authority and the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, which manages Caltrain service.
Union Pacific spokesman Mike Furtney said the rail company was working with the city but wasn't sure a full sweep of the huge mess could be done by Dec. 6. Nuru envisions a better use for the land someday such as community gardens or even some kind of controlled homeless campsite. That's what San Francisco's homeless advocates have been advocating for years. They also are calling on the city to turn over its vacant schools, firehouses and other properties to the homeless.
"No one is saying this is where people should live," Raider said about the railroad dump. "But it doesn't solve anything by sweeping people."

Dale Axelrod would hire Grimes to appear at local events where Grimes would do his Human Jukebox and Dale would draw the guests. A mini-carnival. I, Kerry Elkins, just got in touch with Mr. Axelrod and he stated that he has not been able to contact Grimes since Mr. Poznikov is on the streets. Here is a drawing Dale made once of the Human Jukebox:
